About this Role

As part of our on-going reshaping within eir Business, our strategy has been to re-position eir as an integrated telecommunications and information technology services provider. 

A senior resource is required to lead a newly integrated ICT Sales and Administration Team to ensure that the selling, ordering, processing and billing for eir Business customer is completed accurately and within SLA.

This role is required to ensure that the ICT Team meets the critical Managed Sales Services (MSS) Target for FY20/21. 

What is expected from the Role?

Objectives include:

  • Oversee the merger of the ICT Sales Team and the ICT Administration Role.

  • Drive the revenue growth and profitability targets of all ICT Services and Solutions products in the SME and Enterprise Markets through maximising key partner relationships at an operational level.

  • Manage ICT Team (Maintenance, Kit and Admin) to retain and grown revenue stream & margin targets.  

  • Engage with Key customers & support RFP’s and bid team as required

  • Liaise with Finance & MSS Manager at end of month to ensure billing & accruals are accurate

  • Achieve Cisco target renewal rate to maintain max services discount from Cisco 

  • Work with Commercial Manager to maximise rebates from Cisco

  • Ensure services are attached at point of ICT sale 

  • Work with sales, design, service desk and engineering to keep SR & RMAs to a minimum 

  • Assist with training to service desk on on-going basis

  • Introduce incentive scheme for  service desk to improve performance on SRs & RMAs

  • Work with Presales & sales on higher rebate value 

  • Increase Commercial selling  

  • Work with Sales Lead to monitor partner promotions

  • Proactively review Deal I.D.s with sales teams 

  • Establish internal governance meeting schedule to include Business Teams

  • Working with the Commercial and Sales Leads to ensure that the MSS Target is managed and meeting quarterly targets.

  • Leading and shaping the  team to ensure orders, invoices, and billing procedures are processed effectively and efficiently. 

  • Continuous drive relating to potential changes and improvements regarding the development of systems and processes across ICT that support the management of ICT CPE sales and Maintenance Contract revenue and profitability.

  • Support the BDM/CSM/Sales Executive with queries and requests

  • Sample checking procedures to ensure compliance with ITIL and ISO 20000 standards 

  • Support the achievement of eir business’s wider strategic, financial, operational and customer objectives.

  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to changing and dynamic line management and business demands

  • Maximise personal contribution to leadership of eirc Business and the group overall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day to day management of the ICT Administration Team, ensuring that all defined processes are followed in compliance with ITIL and ISO 20000 standards.

  • Ensuring that any issues or matters arising are resolved quickly and in a professional manner, detailing any resulting process or system changes as requirements for incorporation into the current management system. 

  • Provide day to day support to, in relation to queries or issues from all areas of eir Business

  • Monitoring of all processes to ensure adherence to Service Management system

  • Ensure flexibility to duties defined by the Customer Response manager
