About this Role

Support delivery of  the  P& L for SMB 

  • Focus on BB  and Post-pay growth, supporting both the sales and base management teams 

  • Monitor & track commercial performance against budget - ensure an accurate outlook for overall net growth weekly, monthly & quarterly

What is expected from the Role?

Commercial Planning, Propositions  and strategy

  • Manage internal relationships across multiple functions to ensure that SMB is an area of focus and growth  - including but not limited to propositions, pricing, marketing and sales

  • Work with the propositions teams to develop a roadmap and strategy for SMB to differentiate from competition

  • Develop retention promotional offers to drive SMB fixed & mobile offering, using promotional and operational levers to deliver against targets

  • Build business cases in conjunction with Head of pricing and finance business partners – for new propositions, promotions & initiatives and lead approval through financial governance process

  • Work together with the product development team to identify and develop new products and propositions e.g. TV for SMB

  • Develop and implement offers to combat against attack from competitors

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop effective ATL and BTL communications to drive greater consideration of the eir brand in the SMB market place 

  • Oversee detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting working closely with the SMB reporting analyst


  • Brief comms – For all propositions 

  • Full brief to Marketing on ATL requirements (campaigns etc)

  • Full brief to BTL acquisition offers 

  • Full brief to CVM on offers / props 

  • This includes sign off of offers, ads, inserts, banners, magazines etc and also provision of short T&Cs for ads

Training material:

  • Work closely with the product and proposition teams to provide detail for training briefs, where appropriate 

  • This includes positioning, messaging, sales tips and competitor info


  • Define main eligibility rules, requirements, conditions for legal and Reg 

  • Work with Legal and comms on ATL t&


  • Work with GTM and  product teams to ensure offer/prop launched sucessfully
